Chanukah Lights in the Darkness

In response to the Holocaust Memorial Day 2021 theme, Be the Light in the Darkness, the Holocaust Education charity
Learning from the Righteous and FRS HMD group set up a covid-secure mobile studio to record and share interviews.

Throughout Chanukah in December 2020 they filmed eight rabbis with their chanukiot, outside their own homes.

These are the resulting videos that were broadcast on each day of the festival.

The entire series was highly commended by the Sandford St. Martin Trust in 2021 in their specially created Corona Community Category for the original and innovative way the project responded to the constraints of the pandemic.
